New Ogden
Cinema.
We write, shoot, and cut things that move — narrative shorts and features, weekend soccer games, and job sites that need a permanent record. One crew, four kinds of footage.
What we shoot
Four reels, one crew. Each project gets the same care whether it's a festival short or a foundation pour.
Short Films
Character-driven narrative shorts — script to color, built for festivals and streaming submission.
Feature Films
Full-length production support: development, scheduling, principal photography, and post.
Youth Sports
Multi-camera game-day coverage and same-week highlight edits for local soccer clubs and leagues.
Recruitment reels →Construction Photography
Scheduled site visits, drone stills, and time-lapse builds for contractors and developers.

More coming as new projects wrap — send over stills from other shoots and we'll keep this gallery growing.
How a project runs
The same three passes, whether it's a soccer season or a feature.
Plan the shoot
Scope, schedule, shot list, and crew — locked before anyone shows up with a camera.
Get the footage
On location, on the field, or on site — captured once, captured right.
Cut & deliver
Color, sound, and final cut, delivered in whatever format the project calls for.
About us
A small, hands-on crew that's been making films around Ogden since 2010. Meet the full team →
New Ogden Cinema started as a loose network of local filmmakers meeting up to make short films and support each other's work. Over time, especially after the pandemic, that grew into a working production house — the same crew now shoots narrative film, youth sports, and job sites, but the "figure it out together" spirit hasn't changed.
We're still Ogden-based, still hands-on, and still run by the same people who started it.
Ryan McDonald
Ogden native with a film degree from the University of Central Florida. Writer-director of "Left for Dead" and "Married and Loving It!," and founder of Ogden's Big Lebowski Fest at Peery's Egyptian Theater.
Brandie Lee McDonald
Writer-director of "Convicts & Chocolate" and "Quiet On Set," with credits on more than a dozen local and international productions, including work with UK-based Raya Films.
Jason White
Ryan's childhood friend and co-founder of New Ogden Cinema, helping build it from a filmmaking meetup into a full production house.
