Why It Matters

Recruiters watch tape, not resumes

A clean, well-edited highlight reel is often the first thing a college coach sees. It should look as sharp as your play.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect

Everything that happens between hitting submit and getting your finished reel.

What happens right after I submit the order form?
You'll see an on-screen confirmation the moment you submit, and a personal email from our team follows within 1-2 business days. That email confirms your package and, if we don't already have your footage, asks you to send it over via Google Drive, Hudl, YouTube link, or whatever's easiest for you.
What footage do I need to send?
Full, unedited game footage with the player clearly visible — ideally shot from a raised angle that covers the whole field, since that makes it much easier to isolate your touches. Phone footage, Hudl clips, and standard video files all work fine. If you're not sure your footage is usable, send it anyway and we'll let you know.
How long is the turnaround / deadline for my reel?
Once we have your complete game footage in hand, most Basic and Pro highlight reels are delivered within 5-7 business days. Elite package orders with custom edits or an interview video can take a few extra days. If you're working against a recruiting deadline, let us know in the order form's notes field and we'll do what we can to prioritize it.
What emails should I expect from New Ogden Cinema?
Four, typically: an order confirmation, a footage-request email if we still need clips from you, a short check-in once your edit is underway, and a final delivery email with a download link to your finished highlight reel. If you don't see one of these within the expected window, check spam or reach out directly at ryan@newogdencinema.com.
Can I request changes after I see the first cut?
Yes, especially on the Elite package, which includes custom edits and requests. Basic and Pro packages include one round of minor revisions — reply to your delivery email with what you'd like adjusted.
Do you work with players outside of Ogden or Utah?
Yes. Since editing happens entirely from your submitted footage, we work with youth soccer players anywhere — you don't need to be local to New Ogden Cinema to order a highlight reel.
